Custom Furniture

Sectional Sofa

The homeowner wanted a sofa that fit the space perfectly. The angled walls and a column called for a custom solution that worked with the layout harmoniously. We measured the space, and decided on a sofa size that suited the space. Of course, things can feel different in person than they do on paper. Many visits with our fabricator was paramount.

Visits with our fabricator included measuring (and re-measuring), and sit tests which are critical to evaluate comfort and the depth of the seat - both of which were super important to the homeowner.

For the finishes, we decided on a light grey boucle fabric and a dark grey vinyl leather for the floating backrest. The two fabrics were the perfect compliment to each other.

Desk

The homeowner fell in love with a photo he found of a similar desk with a thick stone top and tambour base. He loves the curves found throughout the home and wanted to bring that element into his home office.

Referring to the measurements and layout of his desk at his downtown office, we finalized the size and function of the new desk to fit the space and his needs.

For the finish of the tambour base, it needed to be a white wash wood grain to match the floors in the space. a control sample was approved before application. We decided on a Verde Statuary stone for the top, sourced from Calia Stone. It is a beautiful off-white marble with black veins as well as alluring green veining ranging from deep forest green to neon. Given the irregular shape, our millworker made a template for the stone-cutting to ensure the perfect fit.

Indoor/Outdoor Sofas and Chairs

For our client's pool house, the furniture needed to be as durable at outdoor furniture, yet as comfortable as indoor furniture. We decided to fabricate fully upholstered outdoor furniture to meet our needs and exceed our expectations. Many outdoor fabric samples later, we found a soft white and warm cream that kept the space bright against the walnut cabinetry. We added a swivel base to the chairs to better suit the function of the space.
